Community Support
In all that we do, we never forget about our community. Thus, we are committed to giving back to our community, helping them in some way or another.
We have since donated to two animal welfare non-governmental organizations (NGO), namely Save Our Strays Kuching (S.O.S), and Sarawak Society For The Prevention Of Cruelty To Animals (SSPCA), and also support a child in need in Kuching, Sarawak.
In conjunction with Christmas, we have a special donation drive and bring Christmas joy to 34 families, by donating food aid and Christmas presents with the help of Kuching Food Aid (KFA).
We have donated 37 bags of rice to Save Our Strays (SOS) Kuching Association, as their supply of rice is very low, with the increase of dogs in the shelter. As quoted by Winston Churchill: We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
We have donated 130 bags of rice to Sarawak Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA), as part of our CSR activity in return to the needy.
Christmas party comes early for the students with Autism at PIBAKAT at 19th December 2022 in the morning together with our staff, teachers and their committees. The Sarawak Society for Parents of Children with Special Needs (PIBAKAT) was formed by a group of parents of children with autism. This annual event is part of our company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) to share the joy of Christmas season with the less privileged in the community. We visited the centre, donated several of bakery ingredients needed to support their daily bakery programme, giving away Christmas presents for 18 students as well as share a buffet meal with everyone. This Christmas party includes some colouring activities and interaction among the students, we noticed that children with autism need close attention, understanding and support as they face unique challenges. We hope by organising such Christmas party will brings joy, smile on their face and also to create awareness among the public that while we share the festive joy with loved ones, we must not forget those who need a helping hand.
